What is “Adoration?”

Adoration is worship or reverence—praising and focusing on what amazes us about God.

Why does it matter? Adoration is not simply telling God how great He is (although that action itself is important and right); it’s also something important for our own hearts and minds. Expressing adoration reminds us of our place compared to God, and it builds our trust and confidence. In other words, it affirms in our minds WHO we are, and WHOSE we are. As we declare and dwell on God’s power, His greatness, and His sacrifice, we are comforted and strengthened to face any battles ahead—because He leads us.
